Softball: Madelyn Seward – Maddy put together a solid month for our varsity softball team, playing steady, reliable defense at 1st base and handling a high volume of action on the right side. She did a really good job securing outs and came through with some key, momentum building at bats. It’s also been great to see her become more vocal in team huddles, using her experience to support her teammates and help keep us in the game throughout her senior season.

Baseball: Alex Seward – Alex was a steady presence for the team, showing consistency, leadership, and performance throughout the season. At the plate, he led with a .500 batting average, along with a .609 on-base percentage, 1.359 OPS, and a .750 slugging percentage. He also led the team in runs scored (18), home runs (2), and stolen bases (10), while being tied for the team lead in doubles (3) and ranking second in RBIs (12). On the mound, Seward was just as valuable. He ranked second on the team in innings pitched (21.2), recorded 40 strikeouts, and held four wins in the season. Defensively, as the starting shortstop, he posted a .960 fielding percentage, continuing to be a reliable presence on the field. Seward’s all-around contributions made him a key part of Weedsport’s success this season.

Girls’ Track & Field: Adelyn Gross - She has been an exemplary athlete so far this season. She put in the work during and outside of practice to combat an injury to ensure that she stays competition ready. She completes every workout to the best of her ability, never skips practice, is a role model for sportsmanship, and is a top performing athlete at every meet. 

Boys’ Track & Field: Lloyd LaValley – Lloyd is one of our leaders for the distance crew. He is always willing to step up and compete in events that most can't or that are not willing to participate in. He is always willing to help out whether on or off the track. Lloyd has great spirit and is always fun to be around.

Golf: Joseph LoMascolo - Joe has been an integral part of the team's success this season. He competed in 6 matches with consistent scores.  He exhibited a strong work ethic, fantastic sportsmanship, and upholds the values of the game of golf.
