February 2026 Weedsport Student-Athletes of the Month
Varsity Swimming: Tritan Boucher
Tritan returned to swimming for the first time since he was young. He is a state ranked Track and Field and Cross-Country runner deciding this season to Swim. It proved to be a solid decision as he was the 200 Freestyle Class C sectional Champion with a time of 1:55.70. He also placed second in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:34.91, Personal best times in both events. As a junior, Tritan showed the grit that is required to perform at a high level in Swimming. He was a strong addition to the Swim Dive program.
Varsity Indoor Track & Field: Ivy Miller
Ivy often has to balance practice and other school functions. She qualified sectionals for High jump and set a PR. She is a great asset to our team. She is a pleasure to coach and great teammate.
Varsity Indoor Track & Field: Maison Hamm
Maison qualified for sectional and is always willing to help athletes by giving pointers or advice. He always tries to get the most out of each practice. Always great to see his hard work pay off.
Varsity Girls’ Basketball: Anna Kershner
Anna was asked to play multiple positions at times for the overall success of the team, and did so without hesitation. Her ability to play a wide variety of position’s helped the team to an undefeated league title and to the sectionals Semi-Finals. She always had a lead by example attitude both on the court as well in the classroom.
Varsity Boys’ Basketball: Blake Friedel
Blake had a great junior season. He developed into one of the best combo guards in all of Section 3 Class C.
