Weedsport Football Caps Historic Season as Class C/D2 Champions
Weedsport defeated Onondaga for the class C/D2 championship game 44-37 in a thrilling last second win. Trevor Moon had 3 touchdowns in the game and capped an incredible season with over 20 touchdowns! Treston Williams contributed 2 scores of his own. The team made its move back into 11 man football after spending 7 seasons in 8 man football.
“The team became senior and student led and the coaches are grateful for the opportunity to coach these young men all season,” Head Coach Jon Sgarlata said.
