2025-26 Elementary Representatives Chosen for Elementary Student Government (ESGO)

It’s election time again at Weedsport Elementary School! Some students in grades 4 and 5 threw their hats in the ring in hopes of being elected classroom representative for the Elementary Student Government Organization (ESGO).
4th and 5th grade candidates created campaign posters which were displayed in classrooms and down the upstairs hallway. They also gave speeches during their social studies class.
On Friday, October 3rd, staff and students wore red, white and blue for Election Day! After casting their ballot, students were given “I Voted” stickers.
In the end 10 homeroom representatives were chosen to lead the elementary student government for the 2025-26 school year. This group, along with their advisors, Melissa Beerman and Danielle Birchard, will meet monthly and work together to brainstorm ideas and spark changes that will benefit our school and local community.
