Four Weedsport student to perform in SU wind ensembles

Four students pose for the camera with their instruments. Four Weedsport students will perform in the 2019 Greater Syracuse Honors Youth Wind Ensembles at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at the Setnor Auditorium at Syracuse University. It is free and open to the public.

The students selected to the youth symphonic band include Reilly Montreal and Forrest Nguyen, and the wind ensemble members include Ann Benson and Nicholas Gray.

Bradley P. Ethington will serve as the conductor for the show. According to the university website, he has appeared as guest conductor at conferences of the College Band Directors National Association and the New York State School Music Association and has served as guest conductor, clinician, and adjudicator throughout the U.S., Western Europe, and Australia.
