Volleyball

The varsity girls volleyball team earned an 11 seed heading into sectionals play. They played 6-seed Dolgeville on Wednesday, February 8th. The team lost in a close, hard-fought match. The Warriors had outstanding passing from all of the primary passers: Deanna Jackson, Makayla Foltz, Emma Stephens, and Jamie Cady. On offense, the team was led by Makayla Foltz with 10 kills, and Grace Baretto with 6 kills.

“I’m proud of the entire team for finishing the season playing our best volleyball,” said Coach Nicklaw. “A very special congratulations goes out to Makayla Foltz, who set a new Weedsport school record for career digs with 316.”

Bowling

The boys bowling team sectionals run has come to an end, following a meet on Sunday, February 5th. The team placed 4th among all Class C/D schools.
