Weedsport Jr.-Sr. High School has announced its student-athletes of the month. They are as follows and include quotes from his/her coach.

Boys’ varsity cross country team – Nash Hertlein

“Nash has improved his time by almost 4 minutes in the 5K race. He was committed to running over the summer and displays perseverance. Nash’s dedication to the sport of cross country running as well as treating everyone with respect and dignity, fosters a great environment and a key to the success of the team.”

Girls’ varsity cross country team – Allyson Germinara

“Allyson is a model leader of the varsity Girls XC team. She displays perseverance, cooperation, treats all team members with respect and dignity, and has improved greatly since last year. Allyson was committed to running over the summer that helped with her success this season. Allyson’s leadership and dedication has been a key role in the success of the team.”
