Grade 6 supplies

The following supplies will be required for SIXTH GRADE students. You should have them with you on the first day of class in September.

• Supply bag (please no boxes, zipper bags work best) – OPTIONAL
• Four (4) packages of pencils
• One (1) package of colored pencils – any number set
• One (1) pair of sturdy scissors
• Four (4) Expo markers (blue or black)
• Two (2) boxes of tissues
• One (1) package of highlighters
• Four (4) two pocket folders – one red, one green, one blue, one black
• Two (2) Elmer’s glue sticks
• Two (2) Five Star spiral one (1) subject notebooks (8½ x 11) – one red, one green
• Earbuds
• Stylus pen for touch screen
• Two (2) 1 ½” three ring binders – include binder divider tabs
• One (1) package of loose leaf paper for binder
• One (1) package of post-it notes – medium size, any color
• One (1) package of index cards
• One (1) Texas Instruments Scientific Calculator TI-30X IIS (about $15)

Grade 7 supplies

The following supplies will be required for 7th grade students. You should have them with you on the first day of class in September.

General Supplies

• Pens (blue, black, AND red)
• Pencils (NO mechanical pencils please)
• Dry erase markers
• Pencil bag
• Highlighters (2 colors)
• Loose leaf paper
• Box of tissues
• One (1) plastic take home folder
• Cordless mouse (optional)
• Earbuds
• One (1) 2″ binder with four (4) divider tabs to be shared for math, science, social studies, and ELA

English

• One (1) gallon Ziploc food storage bags
• One (1) package of index cards

Math

• Scientific calculator with fraction operations (teacher instructs with TI-30XIIS – recommended)

Health

• One (1) small notebook

Spanish 

• One (1) 2” three-ring binder
• Two (2) packages of index cards
• Composition notebook

*Some supplies may need to be purchased for projects as the year progresses*

Many students have found locker mates to be helpful, which can be found at stores such as WalMart, Staples, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, or Kinney’s.

Grade 8 supplies

The following supplies will be required for 8th grade students. You should have them with you on the first day of class in September.

General Supplies

• One (1) zippered pencil case
• Several multi-colored highlighters
• Loose leaf paper (enough for entire year)
• Pens & pencils, blue or black only (enough for entire year)
• Optional pack of pens to homeroom teacher for student use
• One (1) package colored pencils
• Dry erase markers
• Two (2) boxes of tissues brought into their homeroom teacher
• Two (2) glue sticks
• Inexpensive pair of earbuds to be left in classroom
  **Hand-held pencil sharpener**

English

• Four (4) two-pocket folders (plastic ones are the best and last longer)
• Four (4) one-gallon Ziploc bags to protect novels
• One (1) manila folder

Math

• 1”or 2” binder
• Ruler
• Scientific calculator with fraction operations
  *Can use calculator from 7th grade

Science

2″ or 3” binder (no zippered notebooks)

Social Studies
