“Braden and Owen had the two lowest scoring averages in the league for the month. This included rounds of 37 and 38 respectively against Solvay on 5/16. Both players were named First Team All League for the season and proved pivotal down the stretch in leading Weedsport to its first Sectional title in 22 years. They also moved on and competed at the NY State Championship Qualifier. ” – Coach Wilson
Softball
“Arie demonstrated strong all-around play. At the plate, she showed smart pitch selection, drawing walks and notably scoring the team’s only run in our sectional game. She was a significant power threat, hitting two home runs, a double and a triple, contributing to her season total of four home runs. Her aggressive base running led to six stolen bases, creating scoring opportunities and keeping pressure on opposing defenses. Defensively, she played a significant role at second base. Arie’s performance in May was a big part of the team’s success.” – Coach York

“Cayden made an impressive shift from a thrower to a distance runner. His selflessness shines through as he readily competed in various events, frequently taking on the three longest distances in a single meet. Cayden’s dedication, positive attitude, and consistent hard work led to improved performances in all his events this season.” – Coach Barnhart
