2008 Graduates of Distinction

The Weedsport Central School District is pleased to announce the 2008 honorees for recognition in the Graduates of Distinction program. These honorees were recognized at the Alumni Banquet on June 21, 2008 for having distinguished themselves through their contributions to their communities or profession over the course of their careers. The inductees are Robert H. Ward and Ella Joyce Schoonmaker. Robert H. Ward graduated from Weedsport Central School District in 1948 and established himself as a local businessman, community activist, and civic leader. Ella Joyce Schoonmaker graduated from Weedsport Central School District in 1933 and was a highly regarded artist, literacy advocate, and local historian. These two 2008 inductees to the Graduates of Distinction program are recognized for their distinguished and notable lives and exemplify that which all graduates of Weedsport Central School District should aspire to.
