Weedsport Special Education

Welcome to the Weedsport Central School District Special Education Department

The Department of Special Education works throughout the year to meet the needs of students identified with an educational disability and who are supported by an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). 

Students may be eligible starting at age three through high school commencement or the year in which the student turns 21.  We work with the Cayuga County Department of Health to provide programs and services for children ages three-five who qualify under the committed on Pre-School Special Education.

If you, as a parent or guardian suspect your child is having a physical, behavioral or academic weakness that impacts learning and may require special education services, you may make a written referral to:
