 Head Lice

With school back in session, we need to be on the lookout for head lice.  Parents, please check your child’s head regularly.  Remind your child not to share combs, brushes, hats, or hair accessories.  Head lice do not jump, but can be transferred on brushes, etc.

Please notify the school nurse if your child has head lice.  The rest of the class will be checked.  Proper treatment requires the use of a lice killing product followed by removing all the nits (eggs) from the hair.  Remember, there is no shame in getting head lice – only keeping them.  Thank you for your help.
