Elementary Shared-Decision Making Team 

The C.A.R.E. (Community Accepting Responsibility in Education) Team works together throughout the year focusing on issues, decisions, and solutions that will enhance student achievement. Monthly meetings are held where the members brainstorm ideas and topics and then gather data to help make decisions. This year the team is focusing on updating the Summer Reading Challenge which was designed to promote reading during the summer months and continuing the program for three and four year olds called "Readers in Bloom". The group is also looking at ways to discourage bullying, developing a citizenship program for the elementary school, and revising how the students learn information about the next grade level at the end of the school year.
